001. YOU MUST BE ACCEPTED BEFORE YOU START ROLEPLAYING. It is a major no-no to roleplay before being accepted.
002. All fields in the application are required. If you don't understand them, PM me, the main admin.
003. Everyone must post an application. I don't care if you're one of my admins. Even I will post an application. It'll be the example, but it's still the application.
004. Your first character may be any gender, but the next one you make must be the oppisite gender of the first.
005. Please don't copy anyone else's application from another site. I will check some sites I've been on, if I see any similarities that a major points in the character, it will be denied. I don't want to see similiar characters.
006. No animals for protrayls, please. It's way annoying.
007. No throwing fits because someone else has your choice of protrayl. I work when I'm not in school, and my schedule is jammed tight. I don't want to have to add spending hours online trying to solve a problem.
008. If you want to be a twin of a canon, you MUST ask me or an admin I have chosen to be a twin.
009. Currently, I and the admins I have chosen will only be accepting CANONS. If I see an admin accepting an original character, they will be stripped of their admin abilties. Please, just follow it.
role-playing
001. This is a PG13 board, if it's going to be an R-rated thread, please mark a [R] somewhere in your title. My parents personally don't approve of me posting R-rated threads, but I can't stop anyone else from doing so. Just make sure to mark your post.
002. There is a word count, as you'll notice. I want to see your posts be AT LEAST 425 words at length, however, that is a recommendation. If you feel you're not up to 425 words, keep the bare minimum at 250 words. Just don't do the minimum all the time, it'll tick me off if someone's giving you 545 words and you're only handing them 250.
003. Keep it realistic. I don't want to see someone with superpowers or anything like that. There can be pregnancies, just PM me with an explaintion and I'll let you know if you can do that or not.
004. Don't make things magically appear. It's annoying and stupid. And if your at Starbucks, I don't want to hear about alcohol served there. Keep it realistic in places.
005. Your character MUST attend some classes if it's in school. If not, then obviously you don't have to. However, cliques earn points for attending class.
006. You can fight in role-play and even swear. However, if it's every other word, your character better have a really good reason for it.
007. This role-play takes place in New York City, however, you character can skip town and go to one of the vacation boards. However, whatever you do with it, stay active.
008. Linked to number seven is that you must stay active by posting at least once a week, if possible. At the very least, I want you to come on the site every week, unless you will be absent. If so, post in the "I'm Gone" board.
009. Everything is copyrighted to the members who have posted the stuff. If you're caught stealing these ideas or my idea (which took me some time to think up) for the board, you will be penelized for it.
010. No spamming the in character boards, please. It isn't nice.
011. You must use proper grammer and spelling in character. I don't want you do go around and be using IM speak. Okay?
012. Everything must be at a size 1 font. You can use different colors for different characters, but please, keep it readable. And don't change fonts.
ooc
001. No out of character fighting. It's so childlish, and I'm not your babysitter. If I am, then I better see a paycheck in the mail someday.
002. No anything-isms. No use of the word 'gay' negitivally (it's offensive), no calling me crazy, no rasism, no sexism, nothing of that sort. I really hate when people do that.
003. OOC posts are not posts. I better see some role-playing from you people. I don't want my board to go to waste with OOC posts.
004. Don't waste your breath arguing with the admins. I don't want any drama here. I'm serious, no on the drama. I hate drama and I really don't need it.
005. No whining. You are not babies. No complaining about the massive amount of rules. I just want everything to be clear to you.
006. No throwing accusations. I don't want to see it. If there's a problem, take it up over PM. If it becomes a major problem, PM an admin.
007. Please, please, please don't use ooc posts in rp boards/threads. If you want to write a small ooc phrase WITH your rp, thats okay, as long as you show that it's ooc.
general
001. I can't stress this enough. No fighting with the admins, you'll only get banned!
002. General punisment system on this board: first offence, warning VIA PM; second offence, warning VIA warning bar; third offence, warning VIA warning bar and minus two karma; fourth offence, warning VIA warning bar, PM, minus two karma, and minus five cash; fifth offence, temporary ban; sixth offence, ban and character deletion. Anything in the C-Box, you get banned for however long I see fit.
003. If I skip a step in the punishment system, it's because your offence required a bigger punishment. Don't whine about it. It'll only cause me to go to the next highest step. And depending on what the first punisment was, you might not want that.
004. If you want codes, first sign up, registar and be accepted, and then I'll PM you the code or where I found it if it's a copyrighted code.
